HEY! Explain these formats in more detail! Okay, here you go:
1. Split Flipper Tournament
In a split flipper tournament, players team up in pairs to play together on the same machine. Each player takes turns flipping the flippers while their partner controls the other half of the game. This format encourages teamwork and communication between partners.
2. 7-5-3-1 Format
In the 7-5-3-1 format, players compete individually and earn points based on their performance in each round. The top player receives 7 points, the second place gets 5 points, third place earns 3 points, and the fourth place gets 1 point. The goal is to accumulate the most points over several rounds to win the tournament.
3. Strike Tournament
In a strike tournament, players compete individually as well. If a player performs poorly in a round, they receive a "strike." After a set number of strikes (usually 3 or 4), the player is eliminated from the tournament. The aim is to avoid strikes by performing well on the machines.
4. Flipper Frenzy
In a flipper frenzy, there is a set amount of time (45 minutes, one hour, two hours). You play head to head against another player and as soon as you are done playing that game, you immediately move on to another game against a different player. You play as many games as you can in the time allowed, and the winner is the person with the best record (4-0, 3-1).
